The targeted hiring range for this part-time position is$15.00 - $19.50 plus commission depending on qualifications; however, the expanded salary range provides opportunities for advancement. Job Description

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:

Promote and support our high-quality Red Wing brand image through professional selling, building loyalty and long-lasting relationships with our customers. This is achieved by promoting the Red Wing Shoe Company's Ultimate Fit Experience (UFX), selling our premium products, and providing conscientious customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Guide each customer through RWSC's Ultimate Fit Experience
  2. Provide appropriate accessory recommendation, educate customers on the benefits of each
  3. Generate Industrial Sales Leads
  4. Achieve and exceed daily productivity and sales goals
  5. Maintain the integrity of the sales floor presentation, store signage, and housekeeping standards
  6. Maintain proficiency with product knowledge, technical, and operating standards through continuous learning
  7. Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and legal regulations
  8. Provide direct support in the daily operations of the retail store

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Maintain knowledge of RWSC's electronic communication software
  2. Maintain quality service by establishing, following, and enforcing organization quality system standards
  3. Uphold Red Wing Shoe Company's core values
  4. Willingness to perform additional duties as required
  5. Conduct self-accordance to RWSC policies
  6. Build collaborative relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
  2. 1-2 years relevant experience
  3. Results-oriented
  4. Effective written and verbal communication skills
  5. Proficiency in computer utilization

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Thorough knowledge of Red Wing Shoe Company's mission, values, and structure
  2. Profit and loss knowledge
  3. Passion for new ideas and growth
  4. Problem-solving skills
  5. Experience in retail footwear

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, squatting, overhead lifting, twisting, climbing ladders, standing for long periods
  • Housekeeping duties including cleaning, floor maintenance, window washing, and handling chemicals

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Retail store setting
