Account Manager (Sales)

Account Managers develop and maintain strong client relationships focusing on profitable growth and customer retention. Keeping a close eye on the market and customer needs, an Account Manager identifies opportunities to maintain and increase profitability, generate new business with existing clients and new customers. Monitoring competitors, pricing shifts, and emerging technologies helps Account Managers proactively adjust strategies.

As a key external representative of Ti, the Account Manager plays a crucial role in educating clients about our products and capabilities. This may involve delivering customized demos, training sessions, and sales presentations supported by Ti's technical team when necessary.

Success in this role requires a self-starter with a solution-oriented mindset who can navigate ambiguity and adapt to evolving business needs. Strong collaboration and communication across company departments are essential to ensuring customers receive the best possible solutions and maximize the value of Ti's products, services, and expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth by meeting sales targets
  • Develop and execute account strategies to maximize profitability and market share
  • Build strong customer relationships through regular communication and engagement
  • Serve as the primary contact for managing customer needs
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of Ti solutions to recommend optimal products and features
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure customer forecasting accuracy, supporting effective planning and resource allocation
  • Communicate customer activities and market insights to the company to support strategic decision-making
  • Handle additional responsibilities as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years practical sales experience with quota responsibility, market development, account planning, customer engagement, etc.
  • Flexible packaging industry experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated successful experience in a sales position that involved negotiating complex transactions
  • Skilled in developing sales penetration and growth strategies for targeted accounts
  • Excellent financial skills and business acumen
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Skilled in conducting territory analysis and planning
  • Excellent skills with MS Office applications such as Excel pivot tables
  • Able to work independently with little supervision
  • Ability to Travel > 50%
