Overview:
McNary Elementary School is seeking a School Business Manager to manage the business and administrative operations of their one school district. The successful candidate will possess the financial and management skills necessary to perform all business related functions of a public school district. These functions will be performed in accordance with all Federal, State, GAAP and GASB guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide accounting and business services to the school
Preparing and monitoring school budgets, AFR
Preparing and monitoring employee contracts, benefits and deductions, payroll, and time cards
Preparing payrolls and quarterly reports, accounts receivable and accounts payable
Working closely with the principal in managing federal and state grants for the district

Job Requirements:
Experience in public school business operations and knowledge of public school accounting and budgeting.
Knowledge of USFR Fund Accounting System
Preferably applicant will have completed AASBO Accounting Courses, i.e., School Business Management, Grant Accounting/Reporting, E-Rate Training, Small School District, Accounts Payable, Audit Compliance, Budget and Finance, Auxiliary and Student Activity Funds
Required certification from Tyler Technology for !VEE Enterprise (Visions Software)
Training in General Ledger - Budgeting, Purchasing and Payables; 1099 processing, Payroll - W-2 Processing Training
Proficient in the use of financial software systems ,i.e., Visions Software
