Photo Curation Specialist (Remote)

The ezCater Photo Team is responsible for managing all product content photography across the ezCater platform. We want our customers to have an easy (and even fun!) experience when searching our platform, and having gorgeous photos on our menus is an integral part of making this happen! That's why we are dedicated to making it as easy as possible for our restaurant partners to add photography to their menus. It's the job of our Photo Curation Specialists to support the photo needs of a wide range of brands - from mom & pop indies to national enterprise chains. In this role you'll provide photo support to our partners, edit, and upload photos (while keeping our standards and guidelines top of mind!), and help us expand our collection of gorgeous menu photos, either by scheduling photoshoots in our CRM or heading to the restaurant to shoot them yourself. Yes - you read that correctly! While we don't have an ezCater office in every major US city, your office will sometimes be on-site with our restaurant partners where we'll expect you to spend a few days each month doing photoshoots that will wow our customers.

What You'll Do:

• Support. Each day, you'll provide stellar care for our restaurant partners by completing photo-related support ticket management, phone calls, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Photograph! Oversee photo coverage in your city: 5% of your role will include on-site photo shoots at our partners' restaurants and occasional travel to help us build our nationwide ezCater photo supply.
• Communicate and coach. Manage freelance photography in your assigned US region by scheduling shoots, assessing, editing & uploading deliverables, and coaching photographers to help maintain our helpful, clean style.
• Be a team player. Collaborate with your team on projects to boost photo coverage, audit our photography catalog, and scale our day to day processes
• Edit. When a photo needs it, you know. You'll clean up the crumbs, brighten images, and make a tray of sandwiches look like a star!

What You Have:

• At least 5 years of experience in food or product photography
• Located within one hour of a major US metropolitan city and are able to go on-site to restaurants
• Comfort working face-to-face with clients for onsite photoshoots. Some travel expected
• Basic skill with Photoshop and Lightroom
• Experience operating in a high performing culture
• Productive and clear written & verbal communication skills, with ability to handle multiple emails and phone calls each day
• Comfort with learning new tech. All of our work is tech-based, so we'll need you to be able to jump in and learn quickly. Bonus points if you have experience with Zendesk.
• Adaptability we're growing quickly and our demand fluctuates unpredictably
• A beyond helpful attitude, and the "scrappy" instinct to get things done through hard work
• You aim high, and want to make us better you'll think critically about how we can improve processes, systems, and expectations

Please note: In order to be eligible to apply, you need to be located within one hour of a major metropolitan city and be able to travel into the city a few times a month. We will cover transportation costs.

The national cash compensation range for this role is $47,000 - $57,000 per year.* Please note: Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise and region & may vary from the amount above. This range does not represent additional compensation benefits (such as equity, 401K or medical, dental or vision insurance).
