Camp Host Position
The Camp Host collaborates with and assists the Guest Services Manager in championing the overall guest experience, as well as the daily operation of the front office at Tonto Rim Christian Camp.
Essential Functions
- Assist in serving our guests during their retreat, including but not limited to assisting with Rec Venues, bathroom and meeting space checks, and hosting meals
- Follow up on guest needs and requests during their retreat
- Foster strong and healthy relationships with group leaders and guests while representing Tonto Rim
- Follow-up with group leaders during their retreat to ensure an exceptional guest experience
- Assist with the daily operations of the Tonto Rim office
- Assist with the cleaning and resetting of camp between groups
Additional Functions
- Keep a thorough, detailed log of information pertaining to each event and group
- Assist the Guest Services Manager and Director of Guest Relations in coordination and management of TR office functions (phones, evaluations, mail, office communications, etc.)
- Assists in the collection and deposit of shop funds
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications
- Godly, Christian character, integrity, and adaptability
- Christian camping or other ministry experience
- Thorough working knowledge of Tonto Rim facilities, procedures, events, calendars, and rate schedules
- Minimum of high-school diploma
- Administrative and computer skills including: Outlook, Word, Excel, CampDoc, and Salesforce
- Valid drivers' license
Physical Requirements
- Abilities sufficient to carry out the essential functions of the job to include leaning, bending, stooping, reaching, pulling, pushing, squatting, lifting, carrying, holding, and moving heavy objects
- Able to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift, hold, and carry a minimum of 50 pounds
- Some shifts require the host to be on call after hours, with possible overnight stays.
