Sr. Quality Engineer - Remote

Base Pay Range: $89,900.00/yr - $160,600.00/yr

This role is a remote position collaborating with UnitedHealth Group through hackajob. The job is for the Business & Data Analytics team in the Risk & Quality ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Collaboration: Work with Product, Development, and UAT testing teams to define a test strategy and plan that guarantees the technical build and functionality will meet client, program, and end?user needs.
  • Complex Workflow Mastery: Quickly understand intricate data?management workflows and technical architectures to shape testing methodologies and strategies.
  • Data Analysis: Use SQL to derive insights, optimize processes, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Continuous Improvement: Apply post?delivery evaluations to iterate testing processes for future projects.
  • Review product features and user stories to understand functional requirements and constraints.
  • Write, design, and execute tests by creating scripts that run testing functions.
  • Research, identify, and obtain data requirements to meet all testing objectives.
  • Validate all functions and logic perform according to the relevant acceptance criteria outlined in the Capability/Features.
  • Develop test plans and scenarios that model and satisfy project business requirements and confirm the tech build is meeting those requirements.
  • Present test plans and results during test execution and product demos to business and technology stakeholders.
  • Report, prioritize and track all defects to resolution, collaborating with scrum teams as needed.

Required Qualifications
  • HS diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in automated and manual testing.
  • 3+ years of experience in business & data analysis.
  • 1+ years creating and defining testing strategy and plans.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
  • Intermediate proficiency with SQL across SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL.
  • Proven ability to communicate between technical and non?technical stakeholders.
  • Proven problem?solving skills, managing multiple priorities and researching conflicting data.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with API (Application Programming Interface) testing.
  • Medicare Risk Adjustment experience.
  • Experience with research in business process improvement and process flow.
  • Health Plan or Health Industry background (Clinical, Claims, Enrollment).
