STRATEGIC STAFFING SOLUTIONS (S3) HAS AN OPENING!

Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for an Enrollment Specialist for a W2 contract engagement with one of our largest clients in Detroit, MI!

Job Title: Enrollment Specialist
Duration: 12 months
Role: W2 contract
Location: Lansing, MI
Schedule: Remote (potential need to come onsite in the future)
Top 3 Required Skills/Experience
• Four-year college degree.
• Working in healthcare with retirees and retiree populations
• Knowledge of healthcare industry and Commercial and Medicare Advantage health plans

Insurance Eligibility and Enrollment Support:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Research and respond to insurance-related inquiries from customers via Message Board.
  • Assist in managing insurance workflow to help support the business goal of 10-day turnaround on key workflow. This would involve updating insurance enrollment information and/or related information.
  • Assist with vendor discrepancy list management to support business goals of timely list processing. This would involve updating insurance enrollment information and/or related information.
  • Miscellaneous tasks related to insurance customer outreach for information, delinquent payment workflow, student certifications, enrollment data review, and updates.
Skills Necessary:
  • Efficient, dependable worker
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Able to review and interpret enrollment information stored in the customer's enrolment system
  • Able to follow written procedures
  • Proficient to advanced computer skills, including all MS Office applications:
    • Excel
    • PowerPoint
    • Word
    • MS Teams
    • SharePoint
  • AI working or practical knowledge of applications, tools, and functions.
  • Able to work in an office environment (current position works remote now)
  • Prior work in healthcare, especially collaborating with Retirees and Retirees populations.
  • Knowledge of health insurance, commercial products, PPO, and HMO plans
  • Knowledge of Medicare Advantage plans, programs, and policies
  • Prior experience working with local or state government programs related to healthcare and retirement. Independent thinkers and creative problem solving with implementing innovative solutions
