Description

APS Medical Billing, located in Toledo Ohio, is seeking an experienced payment poster to join our payments team. Beginning service in 1960, APS has grown into one of the premier billing companies, currently billing for over 250 client locations throughout the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process the payments received from insurance companies, patients, and other entities toward the settlement of claims
• Apply payments to their respective claims/patient accounts in the billing system

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in billing, accounting, or business experience with cash posting
• Reconciliation experience
• Experience reading EOBs
• Strong keyboard skills - alpha and numeric (6,000+ on 10 key)
• Detail-oriented and proven ability to multi-task while handling heavy workloads
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
