Attorneys are supported by a dedicated legal assistant who handles intake calls and provides detailed summaries, allowing you to focus on litigation strategy and advocacy.Job DetailsKey Responsibilities:Manage employment litigation matters from intake through resolution, with ownership of case progression and deadlinesDraft pleadings, motions, and discovery, including substantive motion practice and legal research to support case strategyTake and defend depositions, including preparing witnesses and developing testimony strategyRepresent clients in state and federal court, as well as mediations, arbitrations, and hearingsManage all phases of discovery, including drafting requests and responses, reviewing productions, and identifying key evidenceDevelop case strategy, assess risk, and advise clients throughout the litigation processNegotiate settlements and advocate for favorable outcomesCollaborate with firm leadership and support staff to drive case successProvide employment law counseling and guidance on workplace legal issues as neededQualificationsJ.D. from an accredited law school and active Arizona Bar license required3–6+ years of litigation experience, ideally within employment lawExperience or exposure to state and federal court proceduresStrong legal writing, research, and analytical skillsAbility to manage cases and client relationships with professionalism and responsivenessCourtroom, deposition, or arbitration experience preferred but not required for more junior candidatesOpen to candidates with defense-side experience who are interested in transitioning to plaintiff-side workInterested in hearing more?
