Caregiver / Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Rainbow Acres, a faith-based nonprofit residential community, is hiring Caregivers / Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support adults with developmental disabilities. This is a caregiver position focused on daily care, safety, independence, and quality of life in a supportive Christian environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily care and support for adults with developmental disabilities
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Support emotional, social, and physical well-being
• Administer medications as prescribed and document accurately
• Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful living environment
• Transport residents to appointments and off-site activities
• Collaborate with healthcare, vocational, and support teams
• Protect resident rights and follow all safety procedures

This is a safety-sensitive caregiver position.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older
• Ability to complete Arizona-approved Certified Caregiver training (employer paid)
• Experience with adults with developmental disabilities preferred
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• CPR / First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain. employer paid)
• Food Handler's Card (or willingness to obtain, employer paid)
• Strong ethics, compassion, and reliability
• Alignment with a faith-based / Christian mission preferred
• Final candidates will be required to submit to our security clearance process.
