Elementary School Principal (PES - 2026/2027)Payson Unified District - Payson Elementary School, Payson, ArizonaJob DetailsJob ID: 5725962Starting Date: Jul 1, 2026Job DescriptionTITLE: ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PRINCIPALDEPARTMENT: SchoolQualificationsMust possess a valid Arizona Principal Certification.Must possess a Master's Degree from an accredited institution.Must have three years of verified teaching experience in grades Pre Kindergarten-12.A minimum of three years' experience in school administration is preferred.Must possess a valid Arizona Driver's License.Must possess a valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card.Job GoalsThe Elementary School Principal is responsible for establishing a leadership model which results in effective programs for students, implementing procedures that ensure fair and consistent treatment of students and staff, implementing district goals, and establishing and maintaining a positive, productive working relationship with administration, staff and students.Performance ResponsibilitiesComplies with HIPAA and FERPA related confidentiality requirements.Develops and maintains positive relations with ADE, students, parents, school staff and the public.Studies the educational needs of the community and works with the administrative team to develop plans for establishing and meeting targeted goals.Assumes a leadership role in the adoption of the general program of education approved for the school facility under his/her charge.Supervises and formally evaluates instructional (Certified) and hourly (Classified) staff in the daily execution of their assigned duties.
